Our school operates a free private bus service for the following areas:

Bus 1 Timetable- Kurri Kurri/East Maitland

Bus 2 Timetable- Raymond Terrace/Coastal

Bus 3 Timetable- Cameron Park/Newcastle

If you choose for your child(ren) to travel on this private school bus service, please note:

Morning Runs
Families are asked to arrive at the bus stop at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. This ensures students are ready to board promptly.

Afternoon Runs
For students who require collection from the bus stop, we ask that a parent or carer arrives at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled drop-off time.

We strive to maintain our timetable; however, pick up or drop-off times may vary by 5–10 minutes depending on traffic and conditions.

Our school uniform is an important part of our identity and is available for purchase from Lowes Kotara.

• Prep students wear their sports uniform each day, Monday to Friday.

• Kindy to Year 12, students wear their formal uniform on Mondays and Fridays, and their sports uniform on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

To order lunch through the school canteen, you need to submit an order through the Qkr! App.

The canteen operates on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

• Primary School
  Lunch orders are delivered directly to students in their classrooms at eating time.

• Secondary School
  Students may purchase food items over the counter using card payment, subject to availability.

Parent Orbit App & TASS Parent Lounge
The Parent Orbit App (mobile) and TASS Parent Lounge (web-based) provide access to the same information and are the primary tools for communication between the school and families.

Through these platforms, along with email, you will receive important updates including announcements, schedule changes, and upcoming events. Login details will be provided within one week of your child starting at the school.

Parent Newsletter
Our fortnightly newsletter keeps families up to date with key dates, reminders, and school news.
All parents and carers are automatically subscribed.

HCS Parent Community Facebook Group
Our private Facebook group is a space for families to connect and build community.

In addition to school communication, we use dedicated learning platforms to keep you informed about your child’s academic progress and classroom experiences.

These platforms allow you to view learning tasks, feedback, and class updates, helping you stay connected to what your child is learning each day.
